Moar Plein Air
Did a study from my balcony. This one was tricky since the lighting would change drastically every 15 minutes, so I had to do this VERY quickly.

Plein air study
Went outside with a couple of guys from work and did this study. We were eaten alive by ants and mosquitoes, but it was worth it! Cleaned it up a little bit when I got home.

Painted this as a sequel to this piece. This is part of an ongoing series of images with a "Kid Adventurer" theme which I'm doing along with Enrique Rivera and Jordan Kerbow.

PAX EAST
PAX East was a great time! We got to meet a ton of great people, and the sincere enthusiasm for the game was pretty damn humbling. There were a bunch of incredible indie games that I highly recommend everyone check out:
And here are a few photos of our Q and A, which went really well. It was my first time doing a directory thing like this, so that was surreal as hell, but it was also really awesome. Everyone had great questions and again, their sincerity and enthusiasm was a huge punch in my heart feelings.
Another great bonus to this trip is that I've also discovered a new obsession with photography after I got to mess with our company camera throughout the trip. I've decided to start researching to buy a decent micro 3/4, so if any of you have any suggestions please let me know!
All in all it was a great trip, and I'm really happy to have had the opportunity to experience it. I'll be posting some more photos of PAX as we upload them.

Airport Doodle
Just a doodle I did at the airport while waiting to fly home from GDC. It was a great trip and I got to meet some amazing people, really looking forward to next year!

Material Studies!
My roommate is taking Ryan Lang's amazing CGMA class on color and light (LINK HERE!), and I couldn't help but see the exercises he was doing and decided to try them out myself!
All painted in photoshop
